4runner "Owner's" Current Condition Report
While this 4runner model is acclaimed to be one of the most reliable, long-term operating life vehicles made, it does show its age, a bit. Here in Virginia, this 4runner treasure officially became an antique in 2021, and currently could use someone comfortable with the appreciative restoration of certain of its various functional and astethic components. It was operated as an everyday casual transportation vehicle through 2018. Since then it has been primarily retired. It starts up almost immediately, even after sitting outdoors for several months, and moves about locally in a normal manner.
In Good Condition, Exterior: Appearance, Mechanical:
- Body has no dents, some minor imperfections (paint is worn in spots)
- Lights: head, tail, parking, brake, bright, turn indicators (working)
- All doors: normal open, close, lock, unlock (working)
- Rear view mirrors (power) - (working)
- Wheels/Rims, near new tires all around
- Engine, transmission, brakes, power steering, horn, seem to function well.
Needs Work, Exterior: Appearance, Mechanical:
- Some noise coming from exhaust system
- Power roof window motor not working
- Automate Alarm System disconnected (due to operational retirement status)
